Abstract

Photograph of the "Rivera Walnut Tower" on display in the exhibit room at the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce building, December 22, 1902. The base of the tower is constructed of several octagonal-shaped platforms stacked on top of each other. Each level is smaller than the lower levels with the exception of the first two levels. Each platform is constructed of glass and metal(?), therefore the walnuts contained within the platforms are visible. At the top is a post whose body is constructed in similar shape and fashion. The column-like post is filled with walnuts as well. Various forms of artwork, jars, plants and etc. fill the room
